8 Places In Cavite (excluding Tagaytay City) You Need To Visit This Summer!


Feeling like you want to leave your house but having the "Tagaytay Again?" feeling when you're searching for places to go in Cavite? Say no more! In fact, Tagaytay doesn't signify the whole province of Cavite! Provincia de Cavite has so much more to offer!

As we have reached the 2016 summer, we mark the 10 places to visit (excluding spots in Tagaytay City) in Cavite this summer!



8.) Mt. Pico de Loro

          Good news for  mountaineers and beginner mountaineers! Pico de Loro, located at Maragondon, Cavite is a "must" because it is known as the highest peak in Cavite, even higher than Tagaytay! All you need to have is your own transportation, at least Php100.00 for the tour guide, some snacks, and yourself! And then you're ready to go!
                  It takes around 3 hours to reach the top, but all of the efforts you've exerted on climbing it will be worth it as you reach the top!

7.) Ilog Maria (Honeybee Farm)

                 Ilog Maria is one of the known honeybee farm in Cavite. It is located at Silang, Cavite, just a town before approaching Olivarez, Tagaytay City. The farm is open from 8:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. , everyday except Mondays. It is not only limited on checking out bees, but honey products are also available there!

6.) Palsahingin Falls

               If Laguna has Pagsanjan Falls, Cavite has Palsahingin Falls! An almost 90-feet water falls located at Indang, Cavite is a tourist spot free of charge. You just have to bring yourself, along with
 your travel buddies!

5.) Balite Falls

                  Located at Amadeo, Cavite, a town nearby Tagaytay City. Balite falls is a paradise at the Coffee capital of Cavite! Why not enjoy a cup of fresh "Barakong Kape" while enjoying the breeze from the fresh Balite Falls?
                   With just PHP75.00, you can enter the resort and enjoy yourself!

4.) Malibiclibic Falls

                 Located at Lumipa, Aguinaldo with two large boulders, compressing the river flowing, making a stunning waterfall named Malibiclibic Falls. With just PHP10.00, you can witness a paradise-like waterfalls.

3.) Splash Island

                 Splash Island is located at Biñan, Cavite. It is a man-made island, perfect for summer, wherein you get to enjoy the enormous slides! With just a fee of PHP500.00, (they actually had a PHP299.00 peso-promo until March 23, 2016) you can enjoy slides coming from heaven!

2.) Balinsasayaw

                  Balinsasayaw is located near Premiere Plaza Mall at Silang, Cavite. It is a restaurant famous for its Pancit, with the secret revealed, the use of specific "bird saliva". That's what the legend says! To be easily located, it is beside Shakey's, along the highway going to Tagaytay City.

1.) Boracay de Cavite

                  Boracay de Cavite is located at Ternate, Cavite, though it doesn't have the sand as white as Aklan's Boracay, it is a great place to enjoy your summer! For just PHP99.00 pesos, you can enjoy the beach, near the Mt. Palay-Palay.

So there we go! Tagaytay's not only the limit! Visiting Cavite is not just visiting Tagaytay City! As what we've said, Cavite has more to offer! We are proud Cavitenyos!
